Giving a Speech

For Schools and Agencies

Are you wondering how to address trauma in your schools? Do you wish that it wasn't just the counselors who knew what to do?

I have been providing schools, districts and communities with professional development around trauma-informed practices for over 10 years. Sometimes it's the first introduction that staff have had and other times it's a longer-term and more in-depth discussion of how their agency wants to move forward with their practice. All of my trainings are neurodevelopmentally driven and tailored to your needs. Presentations are trauma-informed and include information on implementation as well as current stress-response findings.

The concepts are rooted in the Neurosequential Model in Education (NME), from the Neurosequential Network. Dr. Bruce Perry and his network have recently been sharing their concepts with the community through weekly office hours. Check out one of the recent videos Here to see why these concepts are so relevant.
